Lucky's phone rings.
Unknown number. He picks up.
“Come on. Let's go.”
What time?
“Now.”
Lucky hangs up.
He's out.
Chapter 2
Lucky Moves
By the time everyone arrives, Lucky and Ali B are already at the table.
Relaxed. Eating. Like they've been there for hours.
Nobody rushes. Nobody announces anything.
People walk in, sit down quietly, one by one.
Lucky doesn't look up.
Ali B doesn't say a word.
They just know.
Chapter 3
The Night Unfolds
The patients arrive with their own energy.
The True Believer walks in like she already knows the answer.
The Doubting Thomas is skeptical, looking around.
The Party Patient is already celebrating before he knows what he's celebrating.
Each one knows their title — they don't explain it, they just ARE it.
Lucky still hasn't looked up.
Ali B still hasn't said a word.
Chapter 4
The Doc Arrives
The Doc walks in.
The President behind her, smiling — it's his birthday, October 31st. That's what she says, anyway.
She tells Ali B she needs things arranged.
Ali B says: Done.
The table toasts The President.
But the room shifts.
Doubting Thomas thinks she didn't come for a birthday.
True Believer thinks she did.
Party Patient doesn't care.
Lucky knows: The Doc never does just one thing.
She's here for the birthday AND the package.
Chapter 5
The Package Moves
Charles is already in position.
The package moves through the night, hidden in plain sight.
Doc knows where it is.
Ali B knows where it's going.
Lucky knows who's watching.
Charles makes sure it gets there.
The birthday party moving through the city is the cover.
Chapter 6
The President
Final stop.
Everyone toasts The President.
The package has arrived.
The Doc smiles at Ali B.
Done.
Nobody notices.
The night folds into itself — birthday and mission, celebration and secret, all wrapped in the same toast.
Is Lucky protecting The Doc and the cure — or keeping it for himself?
