An Evening of Viennese Elegance
The Waltz Series is a formal Viennese waltz dinner-dance organization in New York City — one of the most elegant and storied dance traditions in the city. Four times a year, members and guests gather for an evening of live orchestral music, formal dining, and the timeless beauty of the Viennese waltz.
Xavier Marzan — founder of X-CURSIONS IN MOTION and Dancetalkinfo — is a proud member, attendee, and promoter of The Waltz Series. He invites you to join him for the December 4th event: an unforgettable evening of music, movement, and connection in the heart of New York City.
New members are nominated by current members and approved by the board. Most attend as couples, but singles are warmly welcome. Seating is arranged by couples, with gentlemen traditionally dancing at least once with each lady at their table. The Paul Jones mixer fosters a relaxed and convivial atmosphere throughout the evening.

Live Orchestra

Formal Dinner
An elegant multi-course dinner served in the grand tradition of the Waltz Series. Fine dining paired with fine dancing.
Viennese Waltz
The centerpiece of the evening — graceful, sweeping, and utterly timeless. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or learning, the floor welcomes all.
White Tie Attire
Gentlemen in white tie and tails. Ladies in long gowns. The dress code is part of the experience — come dressed to the occasion.
The Paul Jones Mixer
A beloved tradition that rotates partners throughout the evening, fostering connection and a convivial, welcoming atmosphere.

Held at iconic New York City venues including the 3 West Club Grand Ballroom and The Cosmopolitan Club.
